PARK OF THE MONTH CLASS/KAL: Our one shot class/mini KAL each month continues on the 2nd Saturday from 10-noon. Buy a kit for the class and take 10% off the regular retail price and of course as always, you get all the help you need any time at Heindselman’s to make sure your project is a success.

TWO AT A TIME (TAAT) SOCKS: Hava helps you end “2nd Sock Syndrome” forever when you knit both socks at the same time. Using one circular needle you will never again be waiting to get that other sock done. Tuesdays, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 6-8 PM. $35 plus supplies.
APPLESEED MITS TAAT: This much requested class from the Merry Making Field Guide is here! These fun 2 at a time (TAAT) mitts fly off your needles when Hava shows you the tricks. GRACE NOTES PULLOVER: Hava takes you through a beautiful Joji design that keeps you entertained. A completely new sweater construction of simple lines that are as flattering as they are beautiful. BEGINNING HARNESS LOOM WEAVING: Taking on harness loom weaving on your own is quite the investment in time, equipment and a huge learning curve. Hava fixes all of that in this entry level class where students complete 2 pieces under Hava’s direction and a third piece of their choosing, with Hava’s help. Learn to warp (thread) the loom and how to manipulate the machine to create stunning colorwork and textured fabric, no previous experience required. Tuesdays AND Saturdays, Sep 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30. $95 plus supplies for 3rd project.
WATERFALL CROCHET: The newest rage in the crochet world, Hava teaches this fun technique. Students will complete 2 dishcloths: one to master the technique and one to learn the hacks to make it bend to your will. Wednesdays, Sep 20, 27, Oct 4, 6-8 PM. $35 plus supplies. Uses worsted weight cotton yarn, G or H hook.
DOUBLE LAYER HOT PAD: Join Autumn as she teaches this clever construction and create a thick, double layered hot pad… or make a really big one and stuff it as a pillow! Saturday, Sep 23, 2-4 PM. $15 plus supplies.
COLD PROCESS SOAP MAKING: Learn the process of saponification – what turns fat and lye into soap, discuss common pitfalls and learn some hacks in this demonstration class that Kathy teaches. Leave with a pre-measured kit and complete instructions to make approximately 20 bars of soap at home, or choose 10 bars of Kathy’s hand made soaps. Kathy has great holiday friendly scents featured in her upcoming classes. Saturdays, 2-4 PM. $65.00 includes kit or soaps.
BEGINNING SPINNING: Learn the process of turning unorganized fiber into yarn, and find your newest obsession! Bobbi teaches students to spin both on a drop spindle and the spinning wheel. Wednesdays, Sep 13, 20, 27, Oct 4, 6-8 PM OR Saturdays, Sep 16, 23, 30, Oct 7, 10 AM-noon. $85.00. Class fee includes use of spindle, wheels and all supplies.
YARN/FIBER DYEING: Use the dye studio and create your own original hand painted yarn, sock blank, or roving to spin. Choose your yarn or fiber and you have access to all our dye colors and the studio. You leave with a very wet finished product to launch your next creation. ALL DAY TATTING I MARATHON: We have had so many requests for a concentrated tatting course that can be attended by
those who live too far away to come to 8 weeks of classes and Dale has delivered! This is a beginning class with no pre-requisite. Come learn the art of tatted lace in this intensive, one day course: 4 sessions of 2 hours with 15 minute breaks (we will have food and drink
provided for you). Saturday, Sep 30, 9 AM – 5:45 PM. $110 plus supplies. No pre-requisite.
