CABLES/CELTIC DESIGNS: Unlock the mystery of cables and intricate cabled Celtic designs with Hava in this fast moving 3 week class. If you can knit and purl, this class will open up a new world of knitted texture and design. Learn the basics, how to use the charts, and even how to do 2 color designs. Complete 3 swatches in this technique class. Tuesdays, 6-8 PM. March 7, 14, 21. $35.00 plus supplies.

MAIN SQUEEZE CARDIGAN: Quick and simple to make up, yet a stunning finished product, this class is back by popular demand. Kathy takes you through the process to complete this great sweater in bulky weight yarn (read “quick to finish!”) Easy enough to be a 1st sweater project and beautiful enough to be a masterpiece. Saturdays, 2-4 PM. April 15, 22, 29. $45.00 plus supplies.


KNITTING 201: You’ve got the basic knit and purl under control, now join Kathy to really expand your world using the Modern Daily Knitting (MDK) field guide and Kathy’s great tutelage. Complete a cowl, mitts and a project of your choice in this fun class. Saturdays, 2-4 PM. March 4, 11, 18, 25. $50.00 plus supplies.

TAAT (2 at a time) SOCKS: A constantly requested class, Hava unlocks the mystery of knitting 2 socks at the same time on one circular needle. Never fall victim to “2nd Sock Syndrome” again with this clever method. Saturdays, 4-6 PM. April 15, 22, 29. $35.00 plus supplies.


USING HANDSPUN YARN: Handspun yarn is terrifying to the uninitiated. It’s pretty, but it looks expensive and it’s weird. Join Hava and make 3 small projects: a hat with optional mittens, a striped shawlette, and a narrow scarf, all featuring handspun yarn as a design element and accent. Learn that it doesn’t have to be expensive, you can evaluate how to employ it correctly and open up a whole new world of creative possibilities in your knitting. Tuesdays, 6-8 PM. April 18, 25, May 2. $35.00 pls supplies.


REVERSIBLE HAT: This fun design gives you 2 hats in 1, with a chunky yarn band and 2 different color hats. Even new knitters can master this project with Hava’s direction. Saturdays, 10-noon. April 8, 15, 22. $35.00 plus supplies.


KNITTED MARKET BAG: A super stretchy design that folds up into a self contained pocket to always be ready to grab out of your purse when you need it. Perfect for groceries, Farmers’ Markets, or anytime you want to corral a bunch of loose items on the fly. Thursdays, 6-8 PM. April 6, 13, 20. $35.00 plus supplies.




BEGINNING BAND WEAVING: Band weaving is an art unto itself, as simple or as complex as you want to make it. Learn to use the inkle loom and complete 2 bands, all in single workshop! Victoria teaches warping and weaving on the portable, inexpensive inkle loom and your next fiber arts adventure has begun. Class fee includes all supplies for first project and use of the inkle loom. Looms are available for purchase. Mar 14, 4-8 PM. $40.00 plus supplies for 2nd project.


CROCHET EDGINGS: Learn the tips and tricks to crochet edgings while you complete 4 projects: a baby burp, a lace sock top edging, a handkerchief/baby bonnet, and choose a project of your own. Learn to use hem stitched products, pick up stitches in a knitted edge, and evaluate yarns to accomplish what you have in mind. Hava teaches these great, SUPER handy skills to add to your repertoire. Wednesdays, 6-8 PM. March 8, 15, 22, 28. $45.00 plus supplies.


 CROCHET MARKET BAG: Use worsted weight cotton and a size L hook to make a market bag that is perfect for Farmers’ Markets, grocery shopping or use the handle as a cinch to use it as a laundry bag to wash delicates in the machine. Wednesdays, 6-8 PM. April 5, 12, 19. $35.00 plus supplies.





COLD PROCESS SOAP MAKING: 30 years of soap making experience (What? Did she start when she was 6?) is what Kathy brings to this discussion class. Learn the process of saponification – what turns fat and lye into soap, discuss some of the common pitfalls and learn some hacks. Leave with a pre-measured kit and complete instructions to make approximately 20 bars of soap at home, or choose 10 bars of Kathy’s hand made soaps. Saturday, 2-4 PM. April 8. $65.00



BEGINNING SPINNING: It may be witchcraft, we will neither confirm nor deny. Bobbi teaches you how to create your own yarn from fiber. Students will learn to use both the drop spindle and the spinning wheel, try different types of wheels and experiment with different fibers. You know you want to because you are reading this right now. Just do it. It is so much fun! Thursdays, 6-8 PM. March 23, 30, April 6 and 20 (note skipped week). $75.00 includes all supplies.







HAND PAINTED YARN: Use the Raven Frog dye studio to hand paint a skein of yarn in the colors of your choice. Choose between sock, DK or worsted weight yarns, or a sock blank and make a one-of-a-kind color palette. You will take home a completed, very wet skein of yarn. Saturday, March 18, 10-noon OR 1-3 PM. $40.00 includes all supplies.






BOBBIN LACE II: Continue your bobbin lace journey with Dale’s next level class. Bobbin Lace II opens up new skill avenues for you as you complete 6 new pieces and learn to spangle a bobbin, plus more. Prerequisite: Bobbin Lace I or instructor permission. Thursdays, 6-8 PM. March 9, 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27. $110.00 plus supplies.



TATTING II: Dale is just getting started! You will complete 17 different pieces in this 8 week class while you learn additional patterning, beginning and ending techniques, basic beading, joining, and much more! Prerequisite: Tatting I or instructor permission. Tuesdays, 6-8 PM. March 7, 14, 21, 28, April 4, 11, 18, 25. $110.00 plus supplies.
